Chargers skipper looking to add team award to trophy cabinet | The Mercury

THE  Hobart Chargers’ Kathleen Scheer hopes to add to her award collection for this SEABL season.

After finishing first in the league for blocks (54) and second for defensive rebounds (172), Scheer was awarded with the SEABL’s defensive player of the year.

“To get that award for me was quite special because it wasn’t about my offence, it was all about my hard work in defence,” she said.

The Chargers captain had a successful night at the SEABL awards, but Scheer wants some team success to finish off her season.
