The boys Charged ahead to an early lead against the Blues on Saturday. They managed to out-score the Frankston side by considerable margins in the first and second quarters.

The opposition didn't go down without a fight however. The Blues managed to score more points than the Chargers in the third and last quarters, but the Hobart side's unstoppable offence in the first half coupled with a strong defensive presence in the second ultimately led them to victory.
We saw impressive performances from Tiri Masunda with 22 points, with 4/4 shots from the three-point line, and Tre Nichols with 27 points, 4 assists and 3 steals.
Chargers 85 - - - 72 Blues
The girls played a back-and-forth game of offence and defence against the Blues, out-scoring them in the first and third quarters while the Blues claimed the most points in the second and fourth.

And score enough points they did. The Chargers managed to lead the first and third quarters by larger margins than the Blues did in the second and fourth. The team showed their offensive prowess and their ability to suppress another team's offence in this game.
The game saw Brittany Smart score 26 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals, Kathleen Scheer score 17 points with 15 rebounds and 3 blocks and Sharna Thompson score 20 points with 14 rebounds. Sharna's full abilities have been on display this season. At just 17 years of age, she tops the season leaderboard for Three Pointers Made.
