Hobart will host one of the biggest Tasmanian derbies in recent history on Friday night as the North-West Tasmanian Thunder take on the Chargers.
Hobart is currently sitting in third and is looking to jump the Spectres to secure a home qualifying final, while the Thunder are fighting to remain inside the top eight.
The two sides met in round 2 earlier this season when Hobart ran away 92-68 winners at Devonport Stadium. Hobart got out to an 8-point lead at quarter time in that contest and never looked back from there. Hobart’s three key players in Tre Nicholls, Craig Moller and Mathiang Muo were all big performers in that contest and the Chargers will be hoping for similar performances this Friday.
